Keandrea Palomeque, 8, gives a hug to the statue of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.in Raleigh's Martin Luther King Park on Wednesday morning, 50 years after the March on Washington.
The Palomeque family visited the Martin Luther King, Jr. Park on the corner of MLK Boulevard and Rock Quarry Road Wednesday morning after they were asked to leave their home due to a gas leak in the neighborhood.
As they scampered around the park, these two children paid their respects to Dr. King, 50 years after he gave his famous “I Have a Dream” speech.
