Demolition to make way for the new Gramercy Apartments on North Street began in earnest yesterday, as the Greater Life Christian Church on Boylan Avenue was reduced to rubble and the teardown began on an office building on an adjoining lot facing Glenwood Avenue.

Designed by JDavis Architects, the complex will reportedly feature 209 residential units and ground floor retail.
