Raleigh’s 69th annual holiday parade brightened up downtown streets Saturday.
The 18th Annual American Indian Heritage Celebration is taking place this weekend. The annual event pays homage to the eight state-recognized tribes.
City Councilors this week approved plans for a new critical safety facility, which will house the City’s 911 call center, and emergency operations, traffic management and data centers.
The tree-lighting tradition at the State Capitol will continue when Gov. Pat McCrory and First Lady Ann McCrory light the Christmas tree Dec. 12.
