Wake County officials have agreed to open three county-owned properties to the public and prepare them for uses such as horseback riding and nature trails.
The Northeast Regional Library will be getting back underway; County staff will ask for an extension to issue $45 million in library bonds. The county Monday also approved $1.6 million in funding for low-income energy customers.
After review by the County Commission this week, no changes have been made to the county’s list of upcoming projects. Some projects will now move forward now that Commissioners say the worst of the recession is over and revenue is getting back on track.
