The controversial I-440 widening project is back. After a lot of public pushback, the NCDOT is coming back with a redesigned plan, and you can take a look and offer input at some listening sessions this month. These sessions are a bit different, though; you have to sign up in advance to take a look. Furthermore, this is just the Glenwood section. Here’s the project page for the section between Cary and Wade Avenue.
“Due to limited space, walk-up registration is not available,” they said.
