PROP Back at the Council Table

The PROP, a program which holds landlords accountable for properties with city ordinance violations and tenants causing nuisances, has been suspended since 2011. The city attorney recently brought revisions to the Council table that will bring the law in line with state law.

City, County Merge Accessible Transit Programs

Raleigh City Council members Tuesday approved a city-county merger for the city’s Accessible Raleigh Transit program, which offers rides for people with disabilities. The merger will increase the hours the program’s call center is available for users and eventually mean more riding options.
