Just before 2 p.m. Tuesday, Raleigh residents may have felt a little shaking underfoot. A 5.8 magnitude earthquake hit in central Virginia and the shock spread to Raleigh.

Raleigh police are asking for help to identify a man who robbed a bank in North Raleigh yesterday. The would-be robber didn’t get any cash, but bank security cameras did get a couple photos of him.
