The elusive Unified Development Ordinance map will finally be revealed to the public this spring.
Planning Commission roundup: City staff is revising the city’s zoning map to fully transition to the Unified Development Ordinance, the city’s new zoning code. In other business, members approved a rezoning request on Bland Road and extended a rezoning request on Ray Road.
Commissioners this week rejected a request to rezone a piece of property on Daniels Street and approved the Lakeview Ridge recombination.
Councilors this week approved improvement plans for Buck Jones Road and voted to solicit bids for the sale and development of the Stone’s Warehouse property. Two rezoning cases were sent to the Comprehensive Planning Committee and a public hearing has been set for planned traffic calming projects.
