City, County Merge Accessible Transit Programs

Raleigh City Council members Tuesday approved a city-county merger for the city’s Accessible Raleigh Transit program, which offers rides for people with disabilities. The merger will increase the hours the program’s call center is available for users and eventually mean more riding options.

Planning Commission roundup: City staff is revising the city’s zoning map to fully transition to the Unified Development Ordinance, the city’s new zoning code. In other business, members approved a rezoning request on Bland Road and extended a rezoning request on Ray Road.
